Clara's Cake
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 t baking powder
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
- ¼ t salt
- ½ cup scalded milk with 1 T butter in the milk.
- Also ¾ t vanilla
Frosting
- 3 T butter
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 2 T cream
- ½ cup cocoanut
Instructions
- Beat eggs, add white and brown sugar, then flour with dry ingredients.
- Add milk last.
- Thin batter.
- Bake 30 min.
- Cool cake a little and spread topping and put in oven until brown.
