The old recipes are from schools, church cookbooks, published cookbooks, manufacturer booklets, magazine cutouts, and of course our personal favorite… handwritten recipe cards.

There was a recipe in the 1980's (I believe no picture, at the bottom of a page) for a Swiss Steak or Cube Steak that did not have tomatoes in it but in the breading had Celery Salt. I've list it and miss it so much!

Looking for recipes from cookbook back in 1975-1976 cooked recipes for dinners, loved this cookbook but cannot find. Had a recipe of Canadian Bacon, orange slices, baked or pork beans with a little horseradish. Shopped at King Soopers so may have been purchased there.

My Nana made a cherry dessert in the pressure cooker for Sunday dinner. The family remembers it…no one has the recipe. All I know is she made it in the pressure cooker she used Comstock cherry pie filling and possibly a cake mix box? I have searched with no luck. This would have been from the 60s give or take a decade or two. It’s not much to go on but was hoping your platform would maybe give me a new direction. Would love to taste this gem again and be able to share it with the family.

Sounds like a vintage "dump cake" made in a pressure cooker, which was popular in the mid-20th century.
