Black Bottom Cupcakes Recipe

- 1½ cup flour
- ¼ cup cocoa
- ½ tsp salt
- 5 tbs. cooking oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbs cider vinegar
- 1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese
- 1 egg
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 pkg (6 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- chopped nuts (optional)
- Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, soda & salt.
- Add water, cooking oil, cider vinegar & vanilla, stirring until smooth.
- Fill 18 cupcake [holders] half full.
- Stir together filling ingredients in order [quick].
- Top each cupcake with 1 tablespoon filling & sprinkle with nuts [as] desired.
- Bake in 350° for 25 minutes.
