Hot Cheese Bread
Front of the Cheese Bread recipe card. There is a notation in the method of “1 loaf and 2 ounces cheese” – I am not sure what they mean by this comment as the method instructs cooks to cream the cheese. Thoughts? Comment below to share.

Hot Cheese Bread
Ingredients
- 4 loaves brown and serve French bread or soft French bread
- 10 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 pound butter
- 1/3 cup grated onion
- 3 tablespoons horseradish mustard
- 1 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Slice each loaf in half lengthwise
- Cream remaining ingredients and spread on cut surface of each loaf
- Score each loaf by cutting well into loaf but not through
- Wrap in foil
- Refrigerate or freeze
- Turn foil back from top
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
