
Sausage Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 pound sausage
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 medium bunch celery, chopped
- 2 packages chicken noodle soup mix
- 3 cups boiling water
- 1 cup rice
- 1 1/2 cups almonds, slivered
Instructions
- Fry sausage until crumbly but not brown
- Remove fat
- Add onions and celery
- Cook for about 10 minutes
- Cook soup mix with water for 9 minutes
- Add rice
- Stir in sausage mixture
- Bake uncovered for 1 hour at 350 degrees
- Top with almonds
