Waldorf Salad Recipe

- 2 large eating apples
- 2 t lemon juice
- 1 cup diced celery
- ¼ t salt
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 t confectioner's sugar
- ¼ cup sour cream
- lettuce leaves
- ⅓ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- Core apples.
- Pare if desired or leave red apple unpeeled.
- Dice them & sprinkle with lemon juice.
- Combine apples with celery & salt.
- Blend together mayonnaise, sugar & sour cream.
- Pour over apple mixture tossing lightly with a fork until apple pieces are well coated.
- Arrange salad in lettuce cups.
- Sprinkle with nuts.
Serve 6 to 8.
