Vanilla Wafer Cake Recipe

- 2 sticks oleo
- 2 cups sugar
- 6 whole eggs
- 1 12 ounce box vanilla wafers
- 1/2 cup sweet milk
- 1 7 ounce package of Angel flake coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- Cream 2 sticks oleo and 2 cups sugar.
- Add 6 whole eggs one at a time and beat after each addition.
- Crush finely 1 12oz box of vanilla wafers.
- Add wafer and ½ cup sweet milk alternately.
- Add 1 [7 oz.] pkg. of angel flake coconut.
- Add 1 cup chopped pecans.
- Grease and flour a tube pan and add batter.
- Bake 275°, 1 hour 15 minutes
