Turtles Recipe

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 2 cups evap. milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2¼ cups chopped pecans


  1. Mix all ingredients except one cup milk.
  2. Bring to a rapid boil to add other cup of milk.
  3. Cook to a soft ball stage, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add vanilla & pecans.
  5. Pour into a large oblong pan that has been buttered.
  6. Refrigerate.
