Tuna Cheese Souffle

Tuna Cheese Souffle

Cook Time: 45 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes


  • 1 tablespoon oleo
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 6 1/2 ounce can tuna, drained and flaked


  1. Melt the oleo and blend in the flour
  2. Add the milk slowly and cook stirring until thick
  3. Add cheese and seasonings and stir until cheese melted
  4. Beat egg yolks in bowl and stir in the cheese sauce gradually
  5. Add the tuna
  6. Beat the egg whites until stiff bu not dry
  7. Fold the egg whites into the cheese mixture
  8. Pour into greased baking dish
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean
