Texas Sheet Cake Recipe

Texas Sheet Cake
Ingredients
Bring to boil:
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1 cup water
- 4 T. cocoa (¼ cup)
Remove from heat.
Mix together:
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup sour cream
- 2 cups flour
- ½ t. salt
- 1 t. soda
Icing
- 1 stick margarine
- 4 T cocoa (¼ cup)
- 6 T. milk (¼ cup plus 1 T.)
Remove from heat & beat in:
- 1 box confectioners sugar
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1 cup nuts
Instructions
- Add cooked mixture to flour mixture & bake in a jelly roll pan at 385° for 20 min (or slightly longer).
