Swiss Cheese and Tomato Bake (VRP 034)

Swiss Cheese and Tomato Bake

Ingredients
  • 4 cups croutons
  • 2 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 pound natural Swiss cheese, shredded (2 cups)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Arrange croutons in 9″ pie plate
  3. Top with tomatoes slices
  4. Sprinkle with Swiss cheese
  5. In a small bowl with fork or wire whisk, beat remaining ingredients and pour over cheese
  6. Bake at 350 degree for 40 minutes or until puffy and browned.
  7. Serve immediately
