Swedish Cake

Swedish Cake


  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 20 oz. can crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 2 t. soda
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • ¾ cup walnuts
  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ cup nuts
  • 1 t. vanilla


  1. Mix by hand.
  2. Bake in 9x13 pan 35 to 45 minutes, 350°.
  3. Grease and flour pan.
  4. Mix the cream cheese, butter, powered sugar, nuts, and vanilla to make the topping
  5. Topping: Spread on cake while warm.
