Strawberry Pie


  • 1 pint Strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1-15 ounce can condensed milk
  • ¼ cup lemon juice


  1. Slice the berries.
  2. Sprinkle the sugar on them and let stand about 30 minutes.
  3. Stir the condensed milk into the berries, then fold in the lemon juice.
  4. Bake a short pie shell, let cool.
  5. Pour the berry and milk mixture into the crust.
  6. Whip enough cream to completely cover the top of pie and have the layer of cream as thick as one desires.
  7. Sweeten the cream, with sugar, to taste.
  8. Spread over berries.
  9. Refrigerate for several hours.
