Steak and Taters Recipe

- 1 1/2 pounds round steak
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1 /2 cup water
- 2 medium onions, peeled and sliced
- 4 - 6 medium potatoes, pared and sliced
- Coat meat in flour, salt, and pepper
- Brown in fat until lightly brown
- Drain and add meat to baking casserole dish
- Peel and slice potatoes (thinly sliced) and layer on top of steak
- Slice onions and layer on top of potatoes
- Add left over flour to fat with water to make gravy
- Pour over casserole.
- Cover and cook at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
