These recipe binders were purchased on eBay from a seller located in Valley Springs, South Dakota. There are two small binders that go into the green storage case that was created by “The Recipe Collector.”
The original owner was JoAnne A. GRIM from Merchantville, Camden County, New Jersey and since she is still alive, we will not publish further information at this time.

Every once and a while you can find a good cookbook with Vintage Recipes on Amazon. I don’t have any recommendations as I haven’t bought any as I prefer the handwritten recipes that you see on our site.
Steak and Rice Casserole Recipe

- 3 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 12 ounces sour cream
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 1/2 - 2 pounds stew meat
- 7-ounce box Minute Rice
- Mushrooms (if desired)
- Mix soup, sour cream and margarine in a pan until margarine is melted
- Spice meat with salt, pepper and garlic salt
- Do not cook meat
- Pour half of soup mixture in bottom of a large, greased casserole dish
- Put meat on top of mixture
- Pour box of rice over meat
- Top with rest of mixture and cover dish with aluminum foil
- Bake 325 F for 1 hour and 20 minutes
- Remove foil and bake for 15 more minutes
