Sparkling Sugar Cookies Recipe

Sparkling Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
- Lightly grease cooky sheet
- ½ cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. grated lemon peel
- blend 1 egg in 2 tbsp milk
Stir in another bowl
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. soda
Instructions
- Oven 400
- Mix all together, drop by tsp. on baking sheet, grease bottom of glass.
- To flatten each cooky, dip glass in sugar & press on dough - use decoration sugar.
