Southern Pecan Bars

Southern Pecan Bars

Ingredients

  • 1⅓ cup flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ⅓ cup butter
  • ½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup finely chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Sift together 1⅓ cup flour, ½ tsp b powder.
  2. Blend together ⅓ cup butter, ½ cup firmly packed brown sugar.
  3. Add dry ingredients - mix with electric mixer until mixture resembles coarse meal.
  4. Stir in ¼ cup finely chopped nuts and pat firmly into bottom of well greased 12x8x2 pan.
  5. Bake in 350 oven for 10 min only.
