Salt Pork (backbone and ribs)

Ingredients

  • 1 pint salt
  • 1 pint brown sugar
  • 1 gallon water

Instructions

  1. Let come to boil
  2. Put meat in and boil 10 minutes
  3. Then pack in jar and cover with liquid
  4. When using always reheat lard and pour over
