Salmon and Asparagus Casserole Recipe

- 1 number 2 tall can green asparagus (2 cups)
- 1 number 2 can (2 1/2 cups) salmon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups thick white sauce
- 3 tablespoons crumbs
- Drain asparagus; cut into 1 inch pieces; use liquid to make white sauce
- Flake and season salmon; combine with sauce; add asparagus
- Pour into well greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish; cover with buttered crumbs
- Bake in moderate oven ( 350 F ) for 20 minutes, or until thoroughly heated and crumbs are lightly browned
