Salisbury Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoons onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • pepper
  • flour
  • margarine or butter
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Mix the ground beef, egg, oats, ketchup, water, onion, and seasoning
  2. Form into 6 patties
  3. Roll in flour
  4. Brown each patty in margarine or butter
  5. Add the can of cream of mushroom soup and one can of water over patties
  6. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes
