Roman Apple Cake Recipe

- cup sugar
- 1½ cup flour
- 1 t. soda
- ¼ t B.P.
- ¼ t. salt
- ½ cup lard (oleo)
- ½ cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 t. vanilla
- 4 apples - diced
- 2 T. [butter]
- ½ cup B. sugar
- 2 T. flour
- 2 t. cinnamon
- ½ cup nuts
- Combine the dry ingredients
- Mix in the remaining ingredients
- Bake 350° 35-40 minutes
- Prepare topping
