Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Pumpkin Pie (VRP 001)
Ingredients
- 2 cups stewed and strained pumpkin
- 2 cups rich milk or cream
- 1 cup brown or granulated sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
Instructions
- Mix pumpkin, milk, sugar, eggs, salt, and spices and beat for 2 minutes
- Pour into pie crust
- Bake in hot oven for 15 minutes at 400 degrees, then reduce the heat and bake for 45 minutes in a moderate oven (350 degrees)
