Pumpkin Pie

Pumpkin Pie (VRP 001)

Cook Time: 1 hour
Total Time: 1 hour


  • 2 cups stewed and strained pumpkin
  • 2 cups rich milk or cream
  • 1 cup brown or granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice


  1. Mix pumpkin, milk, sugar, eggs, salt, and spices and beat for 2 minutes
  2. Pour into pie crust
  3. Bake in hot oven for 15 minutes at 400 degrees, then reduce the heat and bake for 45 minutes in a moderate oven (350 degrees)
