Peach Oatmeal Torte Recipe

Peach Oatmeal Torte
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup flour, sifted
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup oleo (butter)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups peaches, chopped
Instructions
- Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
- Combine the dry ingredients with the rolled oats
- Cream the Crisco and gradually add the sugar creaming until light and fluffy
- Add the egg and beat well
- Add the buttermilk alternately with the dry ingredients beating well
- Add the peaches and mix well
- Turn into well greased 9" pan
- Bake at 350 degrees until done
