Ozark Pudding Recipe

Ozark Pudding
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup flour
- 1/8 tsp salt
- ¾ cup sugar
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- 1¼ tsp baking powder
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/8 cup chopped peeled apple
- ice cream or whipped cream
Instructions
- Heat oven to 325°.
- Generously grease a shallow 1 qt baking dish.
- Sift together flour, baking powder & salt.
- Set aside.
- Beat together egg, sugar & vanilla with an electric mixer on high speed until creamy, one minute.
- Stop mixer & add flour mixture.
- Fold in with a spatula, fold in nuts & apples.
- Transfer to prepared casserole.
- Bake until set 30 minutes.
- Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream
