Orange Sauce
Why does the author have ( -1 1/2) beside the sugar. Does this mean that she starts with a 1/2 cup and goes up to 2 cups? I THINK this is an Orange Hollandaise Sauce recipe by the ingredient list.

Orange Sauce
Ingredients
- 8 egg yolks
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 orange rind and juice
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1/2 pint whipped cream
Instructions
- Mix and cook till thick.
- When cool add 1/2 pint whipped cream.

- Does this say orange rind and juice? I feel that I am reading this wrong.
- I am not sure what is after the 1/2 on the next to last line. I think it means pint
