The date stamp shows that it was sent March 1968 to Mrs. Harry Sowers of Willard, Ohio.
- You can also put all the ingredients in the shell and mix with your fingers but it takes longer to bake
- For larger pie increase milk to 2 cups and 3 1/2 tablespoons flour
- Can use canned or skim milk
- Leave out butter if you wish
- Also, cinnamon can be used with nutmeg in place of it

Old Fashioned Cream Pie Recipe

Old Fashioned Cream Pie
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cream or milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- In a saucepan combine the sugar, flour, nutmeg, and salt
- Add milk, butter, and vanilla
- Warm mixture
- Pour into unbake pie shell
- Bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees
- Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 30 minutes or until the center puffs up
