Every once and a while you can find a good cookbook with Vintage Recipes on Amazon. I don’t have any recommendations as I haven’t bought any as I prefer the handwritten recipes that you see on our site.

Nuts and Bolts

Ingredients

  • Box of rice checks
  • Box of wheat checks
  • Box of cheerios
  • Package of stick pretzels
  • 1 lb. salted peanuts

Instructions

  1. Melt 1 lb. of oleo and mix with 1 tbs. Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Spread Garlic Salt over all this in large baking pan.
  3. Bake in oven 200 degrees for 2 or 3 hours.
  4. Check and mix well several times.
