
No Cook Marshmallow Frosting
Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Beat egg whites and salt until foamy
- Gradually beat in the sugar
- Beat until mixture is smooth and glossy
- Beat in syrup a little at a time
- Beat until frosting holds firm peak when beater is raised
- Fold in vanilla
No Cook Marshmallow Frosting
COOK’S NOTES
- This recipe makes enough to frost 2 x 9″ layers or 1 x 10″ tube cake
- Variation – add at end 1 cup coconut or 1/4 cup chopped nuts, chopped raisins, or candied cherries
