Mocha Brownie Bars Recipe

Mocha Brownie Bars
Ingredients
- ½ cup margarine or butter, melted
- 1 (14-ounce) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
- ¼ cup coffee-flavored liqueur or 2 teaspoons instant coffee dissolved in 1 tablespoon warm water
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup biscuit baking mix
- ½ cup Hershey's Cocoa
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts, optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- In large mixer bowl, combine all ingredients except nuts; mix well.
- Stir in nuts if desired.
- Spread into greased 13x9-inch baking pan.
- Bake 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan.
- Cool.
- Frost with Mocha Frosting.
- Cut into bars.
- Store covered at room temperature.
Mocha Frosting:
- In saucepan, over low heat, melt 3 tablespoons margarine or butter.
- Stir in 3 tablespoons Hershey's Cocoa, 1 tablespoon warm water and 1 tablespoon coffee-flavored liqueur or 2 teaspoons instant coffee dissolved in 1 tablespoon warm water.
- Remove from heat.
- Gradually beat in 1½ cups confectioners' sugar.
- Add additional warm water if needed.
