Mincemeat Recipe

Mincemeat (VRP 001)
Ingredients
- 2 pounds fresh meat, grind
- 5 pounds apples, pared and cored
- 1 pound currants
- 1 pound large raisins
- 1 pound small raisins
- 1 tablespoon cloves
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon allspice
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 2 1/2 pounds brown sugar
- 1 quart boiled cider
Instructions
- Boil all ingredients until well cooked
- Cool and place in jars
