Mexican Wedding Cakes Recipe

Mexican Wedding Cakes
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- green food coloring
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup nuts, ground
Instructions
- Beat butter or margarine until very fluffy
- Add food coloring and mix well
- Add remaining ingredients
- Shape into balls and flatten to 1/4" thickness, about the size of a nickel
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 18 - 20 minutes at 325 degrees
- Remove from pan and roll in confectioners sugar
