Maypo Bran Muffins Recipe

Maypo Bran Muffins
- 2 cups sifted Ceresota flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/3 cup Maypo
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons melted shortening
Sift flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cinnamon together. Stir in Maypo. Combine milk, egg and melted shortening. Add to dry mixture and mix only until blended. Pour into lightly greased (or paper-lined) muffin cups. Fill 2/3 full. Bake in preheated 400°F. oven about 25 minutes, or until tests done. Serve warm.
