Martha’s Meringue Recipe

- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 egg whites
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- Mix 1 T cornstarch, 1 T water.
- ½ cup water - add, cook until thick & clear, cool.
- Beat until thick - 3 egg whites, 6 T sugar
- Add vanilla & cooled thickening to egg whites. Spread & brown as usual.
