Magic Meringue
Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
  1. Mix the cornstarch and cold water until a paste is made
  2. Cook the cornstarch, sugar, and water over medium heat until clear and thickened
  3. Allow to cool
  4. Beat egg whites, cream of tartar, and vanilla until stiff
  5. Add cooked mixture to egg whites
  6. Continue to beat until well mixed
