Lemon Sauce Cake Recipe

- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- Grated rind of 1 lemon
- 1/2 pint whipped cream
- 1 Angel Food Cake
- 1 egg beaten, 1 cup sugar, 2 level T flour, 2 T water, and stir.
- Add ¼ cup lemon juice & grated rind of 1 lemon.
- Cook, stirring until thick.
- When cool add ½ pint whipped cream.
- Take 1 angel food cake and slice through center, making 2 layers.
- Ice with above sauce and sprinkle with coconut.
