- 1 1/2 cup cake flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 can fruit cocktail, drained
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup nuts
- Mix cake batter with the beaten egg last
- Bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees
