This recipe calls for Ragu Italian Cooking Sauce… the same as the sauces today but just rebranded or was it a cooking sauce that Ragu discontinued? I found old advertisements for it but cannot find any history on it.

- 1 jar Ragu Italian Cooking Sauce
- 3 pounds pork chops, 1/2" thick
- Trim off excess fat from chops
- Brown in 1/4 cup vegetable oil for 5 minutes on each side
- Drain excess oil.
- Pour Ragu Italian Cooking Sauce over chops
- Reduce heat and simmer 1 hour
