Heavenly Hash Bars

Heavenly Hash Bars

Cook Time: 30 minutes
Additional Time: 1 hour 20 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour 50 minutes



  • 1/2 cup oleo
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pound can of chocolate syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 10 1/2 ounce bag small marshmallows
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped


  • 3 1 ounce squares chocolate, unsweetened
  • 1 cup oleo
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups confectioners sugar



  1. Preheat over to 350 degrees
  2. Cream butter and sugar
  3. Add the eggs one at a time beating well after each addition
  4. Add the chocolate syrup and vanilla
  5. Sift together the flour and baking powder
  6. Add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture beating well
  7. Line a 9" x 13" baking pan with foil
  8. Pour the batter into the baking pan and bake for 30 minutes [350 degrees?]
  9. Remove from oven and immediately cover with marshmallows and pecans
  10. Set aside for 1 hour


  1. Melt chocolate and butter
  2. Let cool
  3. Add vanilla, eggs, and confectioners sugar
  4. Beat until smooth
  5. Spoon topping onto cake
  6. Set in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes and then refrigerate until serving time
  7. Cut into 48 bars
