Harvard Beets
Ingredients
- [¼] cup sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ cup vinegar
- 1 Tbl cornstarch
- Dash pepper
- 1 Tbl margarine
- 1 can sl. beets
Instructions
- Mix together & add ½ cup liquid drained from beets.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, add sl. beets & simmer 10 min.

I used Gefen Organic Beets. Absolutely Phenomenal! Flavor and Texture are Perfect. I used a little less sugar than called for as well as Himalayan Pink Salt. Beets are my Favorite Vegetable! So happy. Hope the bowl lasts until my guests arrive!
