Hamburger Roll-Ups Recipe

Hamburger Roll-Ups
Ingredients
- 8 - 10 slices bacon
- 2 pounds hamburger
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Place bacon on wax paper or a cutting board so that the lean edge overlaps the preceding strip about 1"
- Combine the hamburger, onion, egg, cheese, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper
- Mix well
- Press and roll into 10" cylindrical shape and place on bacon slices
- Draw bacon slice around the meat and fasten with toothpicks
- Slice in 1" rounds, allowing one slice of bacon for each hamburger slice
- Broil on pan-broil about 5 minutes on each side
