Hamburger Pie Recipe

Hamburger Pie
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can green beans, drained
- 1 can tomato soup
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon oregano
- Pie crust for top and bottom
Instructions
- Brown ground beef with the chopped onion and drain off fat
- Add green beans, tomato soup, and seasonings
- Line a 9" pie pan with bottom crust
- Fill with hamburger mixture
- Top with upper pie crust
- Flute edges and make 4 gashes in the center
- Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees
- Let cool 5 minutes before serving

I’ve been making this hamburger pie for over 40 years. I cut the recipe out of the newspaper. It’s a good go-to dinner .
