Grapenuts Bread Recipe

- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups sour milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 small eggs
- 1 cup Grapenuts (dry)
- 1 tsp. soda
- 4 cups flour
- Beat eggs, add milk and sugar and beat well.
- Sift flour with dry ingredients and add half of this mixture, then the Grapenutes, to the egg mixture.
- Blend and add remaining dry ingredients.
- Bake in two loaf pans for 90 min. at 350 degrees.
This recipe contains no shortening.
