  • [1t.] of geleton
  • ¼ cup of cold grape juice
  • ½ cup of whipping cream


  1. Dissolve gelaton in cold grape juice.
  2. Add ½ cup of sugar to ½ cup of hot grape juice.
  3. Then add gelaton to hot grape juice, with lemon juice
  4. Let cool, then add stiffly beaten egg white, beat until it holds it's shape.
  5. Put it in pan of cold water for beating.
  6. Fold in whipped cream, ½ cup.
  7. Put lady fingers, or vanilla wafers, or sponge cake in sherbet glasses put in ice box and chill.
  8. Serve with whipped cream on top.
