Grape Jelly

Ingredients

  • 1 peck of grapes
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Boil the grapes for 1 hour and strain (save water)
  2. Using 2 cups of the water left from boiling, dissolve the 3 cups of sugar (do not cook)
  3. Add the sweetened water to the grapes and mix well

  • The method for this recipe is not complete as there are ingredients (pectin or something similar) missing and steps to prepare it. I will research to learn more about methods like this and update the recipe once I have the information.
