Grandma’s Sponge Cake Recipe

Grandma's Sponge Cake
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ cup boiling water
- 1 cup sifted flour
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ tsp lemon or vanilla flavoring
Instructions
- Beat eggs until lemon colored.
- Add sugar & mix until well blended.
- Then slowly add boiling water & flavoring.
- Stir in baking powder.
- This will be a thin batter.
- Bake in greased 9" [x] pan at 350° for 25-30 min.
- Cool & serve with fresh berries & whipped cream.
