German Chocolate Flip Cake Recipe

German Chocolate Flip Cake
Ingredients
Cake
- 1 package Pillsbury Plus German Chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup oil
- 3 eggs
Topping
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup oleo
- 2/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 1/2 cup small marshmallows
- 1/2 cup nuts, chopped
Instructions
Cake
- In a large bowl blend all the cake ingredients until moistened
- Beat for 2 minutes at the highest speed
Topping
- In a small saucepan heat the water and oleo until melted
- Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar until dissolved
- Pour evenly into pans
- Sprinkle coconut evenly over brown sugar mixture in pans
- Spread marshmallows over coconut and add the chopped nuts
- Spread cake mixture over this and bake
- Grease and flour 9" cake pans
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
- Cool layers completely
- Place together on place with topping side up
