Until I started going through the old recipe cards, I would have never thought to bake a fruit cocktail.

Fruit Cocktail Dessert
Bischoff is in the upper right hand corner
Ingredients
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1 303 can fruit cocktail
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Topping
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Add fruit cocktail juice to other ingredients
- Mix well and pour into 9" x 13" pan.
- Mix together 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup chopped walnut meats and sprinkle on top.
- Bake for 1 hour 10 minutes in 300 degree oven.

COOK NOTES
- A 303 can hold approximately 2 cups of food by volume and 16 – 17 ounces of food by weight.
- There are ingredients listed in the directions I add to the top part of the recipe to make it easier to follow.
