French Chocolate Balls Recipe

- 2 egg yolks
- 4 T. flour
- ½ cup gran. sugar
- 2 cups milk
- 3½ lbs. sweet choc (shred 2 cups save for later)
- Mix flour & sugar in upper part of boiler.
- Add egg yolks - scald milk in hot water.
- Add ¼ to mixture over hot water and gradually add remainder of hot milk stirring until thick.
- Remove from fire & cool.
- Melt sweet chocolate over hot water, add custard to hot chocolate. Let stand till hard -> put in refrigerator for 24 hours -> then form soft ball.
- Dust with grated sweet chocolate and place nut on top.
