Fine Sour Cream Frosting

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 3 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 3½ cup powdered sugar
  • 6 tbsp. dairy sour cream
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a small mixer bowl at medium speed beat butter and chocolate until smooth.
  2. At low speed beat in powdered sugar.
  3. Beat in sour cream and vanilla until smooth and of spreading consistency.
  4. Frost Sour Cream Chocolate Cake or any cake of your choice.
  5. The frosting is very soft so refrigerate the cake until 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Makes about 2 cups.
