Fine Sour Cream Frosting Recipe

- ⅓ cup butter or margarine, softened
- 3 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 3½ cup powdered sugar
- 6 tbsp. dairy sour cream
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- In a small mixer bowl at medium speed beat butter and chocolate until smooth.
- At low speed beat in powdered sugar.
- Beat in sour cream and vanilla until smooth and of spreading consistency.
- Frost Sour Cream Chocolate Cake or any cake of your choice.
- The frosting is very soft so refrigerate the cake until 30 minutes before serving.
- Makes about 2 cups.
