Dottie's Apple Walnut Cake
Ingredients
- 1 cup of oil (or 1/2 cup of oil and 1/2 cup applesauce)
- 1 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 5 - 6 apples, peeled in diced
Instructions
- Combine the oil, sugar, and eggs
- Sift together the flour, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda
- Add to the oil and eggs mixture
- Fold in the walnuts and apples
- Bake in a 9" x 13" pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour
